NETFLIX. One of the biggest advances in my opinion that internet gave us is
WHATSAPP. Where before you would send
letters or faxes to people, nowadays you can send text, pictures, videos and
audio via your phone to the other persons phone in seconds.
I want you to also know that Internet
is also bringing us the Evolution of Payments.
Before we even had money, we were
changing Spices as a way of payments. We
were changing heavy metals like Silver and Gold as a way of payments. In 1785 the (DOLLAR), the first paper money
came into our lives. After that we had
the new evolution which was called Credit/Debit Card. Nowadays we are used to pay with
plastics. But 50 years ago, if you would
have said to somebody that all your payments would be done with plastics, would
they have believed you? Now I have a
question for you. Do you think it's
going to stay that way? Thus, after
spices, metals, paper money and plastics, that this is it, that there was never
going to be another evolution in the way we pay? Of course there is, in 2009
CRYPTOCURRENCY was born.
Yes, in 2009, this is not
something new. This is an evolution
that's been going on for a while now. In
2009 the first cryptocurrency was born and it was called BitCoin. Now what is cryptocurrency you might ask? Cryptocurrency is a digital medium of
exchange of values. And believe it or
not, there are about 700 cryptocurrencies in this world. (Cryptography: Is a method of storing and
transmitting data in a particular form so that only those for whom it is
intended can read and process it).
Where can we use
cryptocurrencies? Cryptocurrencies are
widely accepted these days. You can
change them for a normal money, you can pay with them from your phone or from
your computer and there is a large number of companies accepting them these
days. But we just don't only use
cryptocurrencies for payments, it's a very good investment as well. There are lot of successful people in this
world who have seen cryptocurrencies as the future of payments and have invested heavily in
cryptocurrencies. You might ask why do
these people invest into cryptocurrencies?
The answer is simple: Because
cryptocurrencies solve problems and I would show you why.
Money as we know it is subjected
to inflation and the devaluation of our money impoverishes us. Look at it this way, with US$10 we were
